Shina Systems Receives U.S. FDA 510(k) Clearance for its 3Di viewing Mammography images.

21-02-2012 Shina Systems (Caesarea, Israel) announces U.S. Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for 3Di Mammography viewing.

3Di is a software package of PACS workstation for handling multimodality (CT, XA, MR,PET, SPECT, Ultrasound & Mammography) images, which are using DICOM protocol.

Digital Mammography images are high resolution images which require a precise display of the original images.

The 3Di provides viewing of mammography imaging (as of other DICOM images from other modalities) without any data change.
